WOUNDED MALANTI AMBUSH ‘BIRDS’

Expect nothing but a free-flowing and entertaining clash when these two clash head on at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

They come into this afternoon’s clash at the back of contrasting fortunes. The hosts were narrowly beaten by army side Young Buffaloes while the red and white glamour giants needed to dig deeper into their reserves of courage before seeing off Green Mamba.

Their games are always exciting. Today’s clash should be no exception. Pressure is likely to be on the gold and black outfit following their defeat in their outing.

He will be highly motivated to face his former employers today and having seemingly regained his form, he could give the Swallows’ defence torrid moments with his close ball control and strength. He can protect the ball so well hearts skip a beat each time he surges inside the danger area.

Match winner: Sandile Hlatjwako – The reigning goal king will relish prospects of punishing his former team mates. He has been scoring regularly of late and while many may argue that he misses gilt-edged scoring opportunities, he is still amongst the most lethal finishers in the league. He still fancies his chances of defending his golden boot award and should be a handful for the Malanti defence. He is likely to stretch it to the limit for the better part of the afternoon.
