MANZINI – Churches headed by wayward pastors and church leaders face closure. This was said by Bishop Steven Masilela, who is the SCC President, during a press conference yesterday at the Tum’s George hotel. The SCC stated that they had been dealing with a lot of cases of wayward pastors and church leaders and at times they found that some were not affiliated anywhere, which made it difficult to action some of the cases. Bishop Masilela stated that following the numerous reports by both electronic and print media, on allegations of moral decay among pastors and church leaders in this nation, they found it necessary for them to make a clear stand. “The fact that this pastor was not named puts all pastors under the spotlight and it is part of that reason that we want to make our stand clear and voice our concerns over such matters,” Bishop Masilela said. |
