HOW SWAZIS MISSED TB JOSHUA’S CHURCH DISASTER

MBABANE – The church that organises trips for Swaziland to attend healing services in Nigeria says it appears there are no Swazis who died when a six-storey hotel for Prophet TB Joshua’s church collapsed last Friday.

The last group of Swazis to travel to that country reportedly returned a couple of weeks ago.
They were at the same building that eventually collapsed weeks later.
While they were there, the building was under construction, as two more storeys were being added to it.
However, the Times SUNDAY is aware how popular that church is in Swaziland.

In fact, the prophet himself is proud of what his church has done for Swazis.
In one of his posts on Facebook, TB Joshua narrates the story of a Swazi woman who was stung by a scorpion and survived.
He wrote: “Mr Dlamini from Swaziland shares his testimony of what God Almighty has done in the life of his wife. His wife was stung by a scorpion and was rushed to the emergency room.

The area where she had been bitten was swelling. The doctor said it was the most poisonous scorpion that bit his wife. Mr Dlamini stepped out in faith and brought the Anointing Water to the hospital and ministered it on his wife, in Jesus' name. After administering the Anointing Water, the pain disappeared and his wife was miraculously healed, in Jesus' name.”
The above message was posted on December 15, 2012.

The 51-year-old TB Joshua’s full name is Temitope Balogun.
It can be said that it is not the church that collapsed but a hotel attached to it.
The hotel accommodates visitors from all around the world.

The Tree of Life Ministries in Swaziland under Pastor Thulani Dlamini said the last group of Swazis that recently travelled to Nigeria through this church returned to the country a few weeks ago.
However, the New Covenant of Jesus Christ Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Enoch Maseko, a soldier, said one of its members died in the synagogue.

Bishop Maseko said 15 members of his church, who were in Nigeria during the incident, were still missing.
However, he said, the congregants were from his church’s South African branch in KaMhlushwa, Mbombela Province.
Lagos State authorities revealed that the approval obtained for the building was for the construction of a four-storey building while the builders later added two floors on top — making it six storeys — without approval from the regulatory agencies.

TB Joshua’s followers include heads of state and top level politicians such as Malawi’s former President Joyce Banda and late President Bingo Wamutharika. Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) also visited the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
Some aspiring MPs in the country also went there to receive healing and prophecies about their political careers.  Prophet TB Joshua’s church strongly suspected that the building collapsed as a result of a terrorist attack.

It then produced a video clip, which showed a jet flying past the building at 11.30am, 11.43am, 11.45am and 11.54am on that fateful day.
It was after the fourth passage over the building that the structure eventually caved in at 12:44pm.
Meanwhile, Pastor Themba Dlamini’s wife, who preferred to be identified as Mrs Pastor, said there was no information from SCOAN that Swazis were among the over 80 people who died when the six-storey building collapsed.
She said a full report would be released by the SCOAN administration but the possibility was high that Swazis were not there when the building collapsed.
She said her husband had not flown to Nigeria as reported by one of the dailies to assess the situation.
“We don’t know where they got this information,” she said.
She said her husband would not give an interview because he was busy preparing for today’s sermon.
In an official statement by SCOAN, South Africa is hugely affected by what it describes as an Islamic attack that was targeted at Prophet TB Joshua. The South African Government said 67 South Africans died.
Reads the statement from SCOAN: “The pain of one is the pain of all. It is indeed a sad and painful moment for the families and friends who have lost loved ones. It is equally so for us in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, under the leadership of Prophet TB Joshua.”
Further reads the statement: “On Friday, September 12, 2014, at about 12.44pm, one of the buildings on the SCOAN property unexpectedly collapsed, tragically resulting in death and injury. Nigerians, South Africans and citizens of other nations were affected. This incident was preceded by the appearance of a strange aircraft which flew very low over the building four times and then disappeared.”
The church said since the day of this incident, its members and partners had worked in collaboration with the Nigerian, South African and other nations’ authorities to ensure that survivors are rescued.
It said they were given the best medical treatment, cared for in the most humane and hospitable manner and reunited with their families, while those who passed on – martyrs of the Kingdom of God – were retrieved, identified and treated respectfully.
SCOAN said it was working hand-in-hand with the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Government of the Republic of South Africa, Lagos State Government, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Lagos State Ministry of Health – doctors and nurses, the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), the Red Cross, the Nigeria Police Force and various non-governmental and humanitarian organisations and construction and engineering corporations.
“It is very sad that inaccurate reports are coming from some quarters that we are not cooperating with the rescue teams and other agencies in collating information and providing assistance on the incident. Contrary to this, we want to categorically state that the church has provided assistance when and where required and continues to do so – good Christians are good citizens,” the church said.

Condolonces to the berieved families.

This disaster could have been avoided if building procedures were adhered to.
Though tb joshua does not want to accept responsibity over this, it can be denied that he is blood guilty for the loss of lives. There is arrogance and stupidity that rules in him.
