BUSHIRI LEAVES PASTORS FIGHTING

MBABANE – Apostle Jeremiah Dlamini has clashed with Pastor Geoffrey Kyalo over controversial Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Malawi.
Apostle Dlamini and Pastor Kyalo are mainly at loggerheads over who exactly is Prophet Bushiri’s rightful representative in Swaziland.

The two men of the cloth have exchanged serious words telephonically, arguing over who between them, was authorised to be the spokesperson of Bushiri in Swaziland.
Pastor Kyalo of Victory Celebration Church in Mbabane, brought Bushiri to the country for week-long prayer services at the Mavuso Trade Centre in Manzini.
This is where the latter prophet, took the country’s Christian fraternity by storm, with his controversial prophecies.

Apostle Dlamini attended most of Bushiri’s services and during one of them, he was chosen to be the prophet’s representative in the country, together with his wife Nolwazi.
He was chosen together with other congregants, Pastor Sandile Zwane and Queen Mhlabane who were also in attendance of the service.
When Dlamini was chosen, Kyalo and members of his church were present.

Since then, Dlamini has been enjoying extensive media coverage since that service, speaking about Bushiri and his miracles and money. This apparently did not go down very well with Kyalo.
Speaking to the Times SUNDAY on Friday, Kyalo said he called Apostle Dlamini and warned him to desist from speaking on behalf of Bushiri.
He said he told the apostle that he was not Bushiri’s spokesperson.

He also said he had communicated with Bushiri about what the apostle was doing in the country, promoting himself using the prophet’s name.
Kyalo said Bushiri was not pleased with what Apostle Dlamini was doing particularly the latter’s recent statements in the media, where he said Bushiri was not in the country for people’s money.
Dlamini also told our sister paper, the Times of Swaziland daily that he was privileged to be close to the prophet.
This, he said, was the reason he was made aware that his expenditure to visit and host the three-day crusade was far more than what was collected during the services. “The hall and instruments were rented and some of the things have not been paid for because the money that was collected was very little to meet all the costs,” Dlamini was quoted as saying.
Pastor Kyalo is not happy with this.

“He is not the spokesperson of the event,” he said of Dlamini.
“I never appointed him to speak on behalf of my church.”
However, Dlamini insists that he is the representative of Prophet Bushiri in Swaziland. “I was appointed his representative in front of everyone during one of the services at the Mavuso Trade Centre auditorium,” he said.
He said Kyalo was present when Bushiri chose him (Dlamini) and he had no problems with that.

Dlamini said he had received calls from Kyalo on the issue and was not happy about them. “I did not appoint myself. He chose to work with me. I did not choose him,” he reiterated.
Dlamini said when he spoke to the media about Bushiri, he was promoting the Malawian’s image and this was in line with his duties of being a representative of the prophet in the country.

He also said before the services, he was not acquainted with Bushiri. “I only met him during the service where he prophesied about me and later appointed me to work with him,” he said.
Dlamini also said in his conversations with the media, he had never misrepresented Bushiri. “I sent him copies of the articles that were published in the media about him. He was happy. Kyalo will not, therefore, stop me from working with Bushiri.”

The apostle said he was forging ahead with preparations of taking people to Malawi, to meet Prophet Bushiri.
He said many people wanted to see Bushiri to hear his prophecies.

Dlamini said the day of departure to Malawi would be determined by the number of people who will respond to the invitation to attend the services Bushiri would host in Malawi soon.
