MANZINI – Umbutfo Swaziland Defence Force (USDF) Public Relations Officer Major Madoda Mkhatshwa has been served with summons to appear in court on charges of contravening the Arms and Ammunitions act.

Mkhatshwa is expected to report to the Manzini Magistrates court at 9am on Wednesday.
He has been charged with contravening Section 23(2) of the Arms and Ammunitions act of 1964.
Mkhatshwa has been charged for pointing a firearm at his brother.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at his parental home at Lwandle below Mendzisa Mountain. This charge follows a commission of inquiry which was conducted following the shooting incident in April last year.

It was initially alleged that Mkhatshwa had fired two shots at his brother after an argument broke out over the disposal of garbage at the family compound located at Lwandle.

According to information gathered, the PRO’s elder brother Sikhumbuzo, fought with his sibling’s son who had thrown trash into a trench located near the family gate.
Sikhumbuzo was angered by this as his younger brother’s family was alleged to have always thrown garbage in the trench which was located right next to his home.

The PRO, when questioned on the incident ,alleged that he had only fired into the air twice with his pistol to scare off his brother who charged towards him and his son with a slasher.

I'm am just wondering why all the time, the PROs elder brother is always potrayed as a victim by in particular, this publication.
Maybe it is better to comment after as for many years, this family has sought protection from the law as Skhumbuzo runs havoc at Elwandle to the detriment of all his siblings including the Minister, but for over 10years he is untouchable.
All the siblings have suffered tremendously under this man and the Manzini police, Sidvokodvo police, the Manzini Magistrate courts have all in unison turned a blind eye.
I'm sure the National Commissioner of Police will act and give a moving speech on the day the Minister or the army PRO are burried.
Justice delayed or held back is far greater than justice denied.
Bleeding Heart.
