TD Jakes wows over 10 000 people

MANZINI - Some churches were cancelled yesterday as all roads led to the Mavuso Trade centre where Bishop T.D Jakes was delivering a sermon.

Over 10 000 people were at the trade centre in anticipation of seeing Jakes who is from America.

People started pouring in from 10am and they braved the scorching sun while patiently waiting for the Bishop to take the stage.

While waiting, the people were treated to some good music from the Potter’s House choir.

Also a local choir made up of different church choirs kept the people entertained with music.

At 13:45 Bishop Jakes took to the podium much to the excitement of the crowd, some screamed their lungs out upon seeing the man of God.

Upon taking the stage Jakes greeted the thousands of people who had gathered to hear him preach the word of God.

He said he was happy that he was finally in Swaziland as he had long wanted to come to the country.

"I got tired of waiting for you to come to me so that is why I decided to came to you," he said much to the excitement of the crowds.

Jakes delivered a 40 minutes powerful sermon which kept many people on their feet.
