MAFUTSENI – A public servant has been arrested and charged for causing an accident while transporting unauthorised passengers in a government car.

According to sources, on Saturday the civil servant was driving a Toyota Corolla with government registration numbers. His destination and where he came from was scanty at the time of compiling this report. However, Deputy Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Assistant Superintendent Nosipho Mnguni confirmed the report of the incident but could not divulge further information. An impeccable source said the man was with two female passengers. It was also said that one of the women and the man got into an argument over a phone, resulting in him losing control of the vehicle and  it overturned several times.
