The pupil is schooling at Matsanjeni High School and is currently doing Form IV. The eight are facing four counts of murder, one of arson and three new charges of kidnapping. The kidnapping charges were added in the amended charge sheet.

Kidnapped

It was said that the accused persons kidnapped three of the four people who were killed, in that, they took them from their homesteads forcefully and made them board a vehicle to a sports ground. In court yesterday, the seven were all remanded in custody pending committal to the High Court of Eswatini on February 23, 2023. The pupil was warned and handed to his guardian, who was told to present him to court whenever they were due to make an appearance.
