NO COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS IN 2 DAYS

MBABANE – In the past two days, the country has not recorded any COVID-19 related deaths.

This is substantiated by a statement released by the Minister of Health, Lizzie Nkosi, that no death was recorded yesterday. Even the previous day, the ministry of Health reported that there were no deaths related to COVID-19.

This basically means that COVID-19 related deaths still stand at 108 in the country. However, the ministry reported that the country had recorded 24 more cases, bringing the number of positive cases to 5 399.

The cases were recorded from 134 tests. 

With the new cases, the Manzini Region recorded nine cases while Lubombo Region had eight new cases and Hhohho Region reported five cases. Meanwhile, Shiselweni Region recorded only two cases.

According to the clinical breakdown, there were two asymptomatic cases, 20 were mild cases and two were moderate.
