MBABANE – Gciniwe Fakudze has left Eswatini Mobile. Fakudze left the company after three years of service as she joined it in October 2017.

Her last day at work was yesterday.
Fakudze held the position of Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
A questionnaire was sent to the company’s Human Resource Manager Phindile Nhlabatsi, who confirmed Fakudze’s departure.
She said Fakudze greatly contributed to the success of Eswatini Mobile.

“Her visionary leadership over the years helped us achieve great milestones. We have no doubt that her light will continue shining in her next assignment. We will miss her greatly,” said Nhlabatsi.

She said Fakudze was leaving Eswatini Mobile in good terms and remained one of their brand ambassadors.
“We wish you continued success in all your future endeavours,” reads an official statement by the company.
Both of Fakudze’s phones rang unanswered when called yesterday.

She later sent a text message, promising to return the calls later.
By the time of going to print, she had not responded.

Fakudze’s future endeavours could not be established.
Before joining Eswatini Mobile, Fakudze had held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in two municipalities in the country, for a total of 16 years. She first joined the Siteki Town Council when she was aged 23, where she held the position of CEO for about 2 years.

At 26 years old, she joined the Matsapha Town Council where she held the same position (CEO) for 14 years.
