PIGG’S PEAK – A woman who went to a police camp for help ended up being allegedly exploited, sexually.

The woman claims to have been raped by a police officer while at the police camp. *Lolo, who is said to be in her late 20s, alleged that she was raped by the police officer when she had gone to the police camp to meet up with the law enforcer to discuss a business partnership proposal. The matter, according to investigations carried out by this publication, was reported at the Pigg’s Peak Police Station on January 9, 2020.

Lolo alleged that the rape occurred on December 30, 2019, while she was at the police camp where she had been taken by the officer for their supposed meeting. The police officer’s name will not be mentioned as this is a matter which is currently under investigation and no charges have been preferred against the officer. Speaking about the ordeal that she claimed left her very sick, Lolo alleged that her first encounter with the police officer was when she went to report an assault case.

Assault

Lolo said on the day she reported the assault, the said police officer was very helpful. “He took me to a separate office where he recorded a statement,” she said. She said the officer went out of his way to assist her, adding that she was happy with his service. After the assault matter had been concluded, Lolo alleged that the officer changed his tone of communication with her. She alleged that he told her that the only reason he went out of his way to assist her was because he was attracted to her. “He said he wanted me,” Lolo alleged. Lolo said the officer continued with his love proposal but she said she was not interested because she did not think he was her type.

She alleged that she told him that if she were to be involved with someone, she needed a person who would be serious with her and understand her way of life. “I told him I was not interested in a relationship with him,” she further alleged. Lolo, however, alleged that the officer persisted but she continued to stand her ground. This publication is also in possession of WhatsApp texts where Lolo and the police officer discussed their meeting before the day she was allegedly raped. She claimed that she might have been drugged, allegedly by the police officer, prior to being raped.
