‘INCWALA AYIBUKELWA’
LUDZIDZINI - Regiments are still in high spirits 13 days since the beginning of the Little Incwala Ceremony.
They were in song even yesterday as the ceremony continued.
Despite the rains, emaSwati still came in large numbers to the Little Incwala.
As per the SiSwati adage ‘Incwala ayibukelwa’, tourists also joined in to dance with the regiments. Despites language barrier, the tourists seemed to enjoy the rhythm of the songs. They formed their own line behind the warriors and learnt the dance moves.
There were about 10 of them. As the nation dances with Their Majesties, their focus would also be on the moon which will determine the main day of the cultural event.
