HAILSTORM HITS MBABANE, OTHER AREAS
MBABANE- Hope was yesterday restored when rain fell in some parts of the country.
The satisfactory rain which was accompanied by hailstorm fell after lunch in the capital city and surrounding areas. However, the hailstones which were a size of a golf ball were destructive to some cars which were left out of shelter.
Destructive
It was also destructive to vegetation, crops and vegetables but was a blessing to many farmers. Information gathered from Accuweather.com was to the effect that hail storms were expected throughout the week. Storms seem prevalent nowadays as they left a trail of destruction in some parts of the county last week.
