MBABANE – Standard Bank will tomorrow kick off the Luju Fridays and Move Campaign which are set to bring out the buzz around the much anticipated upcoming festival, taking place on August 3, 2019.

Through a series of activations across Eswatini, the Move Campaign will highlight all the exciting benefits of moving to a financial partner that truly enables progress for the people of Eswatini, be it on a personal or business level.

Standard Bank’s Communication and CSI Specialist Sibusile Sigwane said: “Through the launch of the Luju Fridays campaign, Standard Bank is bringing banking to the people by unpacking all of exciting new features embodied within the current account product.

“Through a series of customer insights that we have gathered, Standard Bank has managed to get a sense of what customers really need from the Transact, Lend, Invest and Insure perspectives.

“Through this campaign, we will share these new product offerings with the people of Eswatini.”
The Luju Friday activations will therefore provide an opportunity for people to interact closely with the brand and to learn more about the latest enhancements in the digital transaction space.

During these activations, Standard Bank will also be giving away a host of prizes, including tickets to the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival. The first activation and launch will take place in Mbabane city tomorrow from10am.

Set on the lavish lawns of the House on Fire Sculpture Garden against a breath-taking backdrop of endless cane fields and rolling hills, the festival is a not-to-be missed event for any food enthusiasts, culture buffs and travellers.
Luju is a unique and sophisticated African-vintage styled event celebrating the local, the wholesome, the creative, and the delicious.

Love to Cook with SIBA:

Headliner Culinary Programme

This love and honouring of food is at the heart of the festival and the House on Fire Ampitheatre, that will host a specially designed culinary programme that will be an interactive showcase headlined by one of Africa’s hottest and most loved culinary exports and experts, Siba Mtongana from the internationally acclaimed TV show, Cooking with Siba.

The Luju Festival culinary experiences will include intimate cooking demonstrations and master-classes with celebrity chefs, where participants will get to experience and sample the world famous cuisine of our celebrity chefs, and hopefully learn a thing or two from the experts themselves in the process. Be sure to arrive early at the festival, to not miss out on this once in a lifetime experience.

Designer Lifestyle
The 2019 Luju theme is also brought to life in the Design Café – a space that takes us on a journey of celebration though sculptural art and design works. All elements in the cafe are designed and infused with simple materials that preserve our culture and embrace our environment. Offering focus on creating comforts within our homes and preserving our heritage. Simple pleasures like taking time to swing and discovering small histories is what we yearn for the Design Café.

Sway the Night Away
In addition to the full array of food and lifestyle activities taking place across the Luju landscape, The Standard Bank Luju main stage will feature an inspired array of jazz, afro-pop, blues, acapella and much more, from high profile acts from the region and beyond.
