EMASWATI IN FATAL S. AFRICA CRASH

JOHANNESBURG – Four people died yesterday and three others sustained serious injuries in a collision on the N2 near Mtunzini in KwaZulu-Natal.


It was gathered that some of those involved in the accident were emaSwati.  Information, though scanty, was to the effect that one of those involved in the accident is an auditor of a reputable firm, while another was an employee in one of the hospitals in the country.


According to the information, none of the Eswatini nationals were killed in the fatal accident. However, they sustained serious injuries and one of them was reportedly in a critical condition.


According to eNCA news, two vehicles collided head-on, killing three people instantly. The driver of one of the vehicles was burnt to death as he was trapped in the car. Fire and rescue services used the Jaws of Life to free three passengers from the wreckage.


The injured passengers were reportedly airlifted to hospital. It’s not yet known what caused the crash.
