MBABANE -  The Army Commander, Sobantu Dlamini has to cough up about E10 million.

Dlamini has to pay up this amount after being taken to court by Moses Nhlanhla Dlamini for unfair dismissal. Moses, in his particulars of claim, alleges that he has suffered damages amounting to E9 671 002.18.

These allegations are yet to be tested in a court of law.
From this amount, Moses alleged that E4 627 273.77 was in respect of salary, allowance and leave from the date of constructive dismissal to the retirement age.

He further submitted that E5 043 728.41 was in respect of payment for forced early retirement or unfair dismissal or constructive dismissal.
Moses is represented by former Magistrate Leo Dlamini from Nkosi S.A Attorneys. He submitted that he joined the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force in 1986 where his working relations with the hierarchy of the army were smooth up until he was transferred in September 10, 2013.

In 2013, he said he was transferred from Gcina Barracks to Mbanana Barracks. During this transfer, Moses alleged that he was disposed of his working tools and further ordered to desist from his work station and stay home for an indefinite period without any lawful authority and just cause.
