PIGG’S PEAK – Nearly two weeks after her lifeless body was discovered, Nkhosinaye Dlamini has still not been buried.

This is unusual as families normally bury their deceased relatives after the post-mortem.
For Nkhosinaye, her body is still at the mortuary because the family does not have the means to bury her.

Nkhosinaye had been living with her grandfather, Mandla Tsabedze, at a place known as Mbasheni but when she was abducted, she had been visiting her mother at Msahweni.

Yesterday, Tsabedze said the family was still looking for means to bury her. Tsabedze, who is a retired police office, now works as a security guard at one of the local citrus farms.

Nkhosinaye was kidnapped on April 30, 2018 and her lifeless body was discovered 10 days later, floating in the Mlumati River.
She was abducted while playing with her friends near her mother’s marital homestead around Msahweni near Matsamo.
