‘SIYAYIFUNA SIYINKUNZI’

It’s the fourth edition of this year’s competition and up next is Mbabane Highlanders’ Neliswa Nhlengetfwa.

She was captured in the last 16 when her team beat Mbabane City 3-0 and are now scheduled to play Matsapha United in the quarter-finals this Sunday. By her appearance here, she already is entitled to the E300 cash prize and also stands to win the overall Best Dressed Soccer Babe Competition prize of E2 000. The participants will also receive SwaziBank Cup merchandise but after the final has been played. Here she is, read on to hear what she has to say...
What do you like about SwaziBank Cup?

Neliswa: It’s a big tournament, no wonder it was declared a national one. It brings all types of people together and some travel from outside our borders to watch and scout for talent. It’s one for all, on and off the pitch, we are all winners.
What do you think about the slogan Uyayifuna Na?

Neliswa: It is one thing that motivated me to go for this competition and I’m hoping it does the same for my club as I’d love to see us in final then we’ll have a chance to win it. Siyayifuna siyiNkunzi.
Do you see your team winning it this time around?

Neliswa: Gwaza Nkunzi! I am a big fan of this great club so I will always be positive. We are playing well and ready to face any team so it’s possible. I know it’s Matsapha next but I have no fear as I believe we’re stronger than them.
What promotion is the bank running along with this tournament?

Neliswa: It’s the Prepaid Card Promotion and I understand it is open to everybody; customer or not, the bank with a heart will just issue one to you and reward you with cash prizes if you are lucky enough.
