MBABANE – Gamedze was a saved man. This was revealed by his spiritual father Pastor Ken Lukumba of the Straight Gate International Church.

Lukumba shared with mourners at the fully packed Prince of Wales stadium that three years ago, Victor Gamedze walked into church and sat at the back.
“He came again three times and on the third visit, he came to me in the office and told me that he wanted to receive Jesus as his personal saviour; he knelt down and I prayed for him,” Lkumba said.

Lukumba said Gamedze confessed that when he listened to the pastor speak, he felt something he had never felt in life before.
“His entire family fellowships with us and his wife is a prophetess.”
The businessman is said to have attended church religiously.

He narrated how he received a call informing him that his son (Victor) lay dead in bed at the Medisun Clinic and he was asked to come and pray for him before he was taken away.
He spoke of how as he walked into the room Gamedze was being kept in he prayed to God and asked him to bring him back.
“God spoke to me and said two words: “Trust me.”

Lukumba said that he painfully asked God how he could trust him when he was taking Gamedze from the world and God assured him that he may be taking him from the world but he wanted the pastor to trust him.
