EZULWINI – “The blood speaks.” This statement was shared by Reverend David Chaliyumba during a short service in honour of the late businessman and soccer administrator Victor Gamedze held at the Ezulwini Galp Filling Station, yesterday.

Gamedze was shot on Sunday just before 7pm and was rushed to MediSun Clinic where he was pronounced dead.
In clarifying his statement, Chaliyumba said no person could shed blood of another and get away with murder.

“Even if they are not found by the police, lawyers and judges but there is somebody somewhere who sees everything. The blood speaks for itself,” he preached.

As if the close to a hundred people who had gathered at the fuel station had anticipated the statement, they responded with a rousing, ‘amen’.

He also said the bible stated that the blood of a man spoke vengeance.
“I want you to hear me very well, I’m not saying anyone has the right to go and revenge. That belongs to God,” he cautioned.
Before sharing the sermon, Chaliyumba read from the book of Genesis, Chapter 4 verse 10.

“It’s a story that registers the first murder that ever happened. No one ever knew what murder was and no blood had ever been shed before. Cain had decided to kill his brother Abel. This was the first blood that fell to the ground. The ground received the blood of Abel,” the man of cloth said.

After killing his brother, Cain went into hiding thinking no one saw him committing the crime, but God found him.
The church minister said Cain was found through what theologians call the secret of the blood.
