MBABANE – Private Investigator Hunter Shongwe believes that businessman Victor Gamedze would not have been killed in this manner if he had bodyguards.

Shongwe stated that a great man who was a leader like Gamedze should have been protected by nine bodyguards.
He said the country lost a great man who changed people’s lives and created jobs for unemployed Swazis.
“Gamedze should have had a gun to protect himself.

“If he had bodyguards, they would have created a human wall around him each time he went public.
“The gunman would not have been able to penetrate through the armed bodyguards and he would have been scared to even get close to Gamedze.

“The country lost a great man and it could have been avoided,” Shongwe stated.
He sent his condolences to the Gamedze family on the loss of a brother, father and husband.
The private investigator mentioned that he was qualified to train people to become personal bodyguards.

“I blame the government for the death of Gamedze because they took too long to appoint a Firearms Licensing Board. How can you hire someone to protect you without a gun?” Shongwe asked.

However, government gazetted a Fireman Licensing Board though its term of office recently elapsed.
Shongwe implored business minded people to establish companies which provide protection for the individual Swazis who feel they need to be protected.
