‘E25 000 TO DINE WITH BUSHIRI FINE’

MBABANE – Dining on the high table with Major One, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is worth E25 000.

The Enlightened Church of God (ECG) in Pretoria, South Africa, under the prophet will be hosting a gala dinner at the showgrounds & Hall Centre on December 23. Men of God in the country feel there is nothing wrong with paying for sitting and sharing a table with a highly anointed prophet.

According to the men of God, the money was too little as people were going to tap into the prophet’s anointing. They said it was high time that the things of God were paid for, as they were looked down upon, yet spending for other events was not an issue.

Founder of the Chosen Family Church at Bethany, Apostle Simon Ngwenya, said a gala dinner was different as the people were going to sit and share a table with the man of God, which was something special and there was no amount to substantiate it as the anointing was just too much. “As children of God, we have to set standards as the world has standards too,” said Apostle Ngwenya.

He said the amount was worth it, as people needed to offer something and pay for tapping direct into the prophet’s anointing. Reverend Johannes Mazibuko of the Mbabane Alliance Church, said everyone on earth had a product to sell and it depended if people were interested in the product or not. “If they are not interested, they can leave it and if they are attracted to the product, they can take it,” Reverend Mazibuko said.

He said a gala dinner was different from a church setting and, therefore, there were standards. During a gala dinner, Reverend Mazibuko said there was a special product which was aimed at being marketed. According him it was only going to be a problem if it was a church setting.
