MBABANE – A doctor’s medical report is the only thing that can save a wardress who claims to be attacked by evil spirits from having a bleak Christmas.

This is because the Commissioner General of His Majesty’s Correctional Services, has allegedly stopped her salary as she has not been at work for the past six months.

Precious Ncobile Maziya has been at home since May 2017 due to the ailment, and now wants the court to intervene. Maziya alleged that she was attacked by a certain illness or a disorder which had an effect of exposing her to delusion.

She went on to state that she would sometimes feel cramps in her legs that made her unable to walk properly.
The disorder, according to Maziya, became worse when she was transferred to Vulamasango School, as she would now and then fail to go to work because of her deteriorating health.

Maziya submitted that she frequently visited hospitals but doctors could not discern or diagnose any disease or sickness in her body. “I also sought assistance from traditional healers and divine intervention from pastors but all my efforts proved in vain,” alleged the applicant.

She is now praying for an order directing the Commissioner General of His Majesty’s Correctional Services, to continue remunerating her pending her recuperation.

In her urgent application, she mentioned that she was employed by the Swaziland Government in the department of Correctional Services in 2012.
