HLUTI – Preparations for the most anticipated wedding of the year are already underway.

This emerged yesterday during a visit to the parental home of Gugu Primrose Simelane, the Prime Minister (PM), Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini’s fiancée.
Her parental homestead is located at an area known as Mgudvwini in Hluti.

A rondavel is currently being constructed at the homestead, and Gugu’s elder brother, who preferred to be called Simelane, said the construction was part of the preparations.
“Satisiwe ngemshado ngiko nje usikhandza sitsintsitsa,” he said meaning they had been informed of the wedding, therefore they were cleaning the place up.

Simelane, who wore blue overalls, was found in the company of builders who were working on the rondavel’s roofing.
He preferred to play his cards close to the chest in relation to the couple’s marriage.
It was reported yesterday that the PM will  walk down the aisle for the third time with thedeputy head teacher on November 4.
Simelane confirmed that the homestead was Gugu’s parental home where she lived with their elderly mother, as their father was deceased.

However, he said the family preferred to keep their matters within the Simelane compound.
“Please go and get more information from the two who are getting married,” he said. He said they would only speak to the media once they received permission from the couple or after the wedding, which is expected to take place at Matsapha Evangelical Church.
He said his sister, who he affectionately called Gugulethu, was the lastborn in the family.
