MANZINI – Renowned man of the cloth Reverend Johannes Mazibuko’s Alliance Church has been rocked by a pastor- married female congregant love affair scandal.

Mazibuko-the highly respected man of God, who is also a programme presenter at Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Services (SBIS), is aware of the scandal and he has told the Times SUNDAY that the fingered pastor who was leading one of the church’s branches in the Manzini region has since been removed.

Information reaching the Times SUNDAY is that Pastor Mzwandile Fakudze, who was leading Endvumisweni Alliance Church in Lushikishini, had an illicit affair with one of his married female congregants.
The Times SUNDAY was made to understand that Fakudze, who has been fingered to have seduced and subsequently had an illicit love affair with a young makoti in the area, is reported to have confessed to his church superiors as well as to the traditional leaders of Lushikishini in separate meetings.

It was also established by the Times SUNDAY that the clandestine love affair between the two was discovered by a brother in-law of the woman during a family gathering for a tombstone unveiling. Sources close to the matter told this publication that the cat came out of the bag after a long time of serious suspicions by family members of the fingered woman.
The accused woman’s husband works in South Africa.

Mandla Mango, the brother-in-law of the woman, told the Times SUNDAY that it was one of his sisters who stumbled on the evidence in their sister in-law’s mobile phone which was WhatsApp text messages that were exchanged between the two love birds.
He said the discovery was made after his sister needed to call her sickly child she had left at home.

Mango said unsuspectingly, his nieces gave their aunt (Mango’s sister) their mother’s cellphone which she had left with them to use. “That is when she discovered the ‘dirty’ WhatsApp messages between the two,’’ Mango said.
Mango, who is a younger brother of the embattled woman’s husband, further told the Times SUNDAY that they learnt that the love affair started early 2016. “Some of our family members had their suspicions about the two but they did not have concrete proof of it up until the day they saw the messages.”
