MANZINI – Brutality against taxi man has once again reared its ugly head.

A well known Manzini taxi man was shot four times by unknown people and his body dumped at the entrance of Kai Kai Holiday Park.
The dreadful incident, which claimed Anthony ‘S’khulu’ Dlamini’s life, took place on Sunday night as his body was discovered by the establishment’s employee who was going to her rented flat after work at around 11:30pm.

She found his body soaked in a pool of blood, dumped near the MR3 Public Road, on the gravel path leading to the entrance of the holiday park. The woman, who thought that the man was knocked by a car, reported the matter to her manager who then called the police.

A well placed source said first to arrive at the scene were traffic police from Manzini and one of them recognised Dlamini.
He said they inspected his body and found that he was not hit by a car as he had four gunshot wounds; one on the chest, two on his waist and the last one on his left leg.

The officers are said to have then called their colleagues from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Serious Crime Investigation, who are widely known as Lukhozi because they felt the matter was a criminal one.

He said Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, who are widely known as paramedics were also called to the scene but they found that Dlamini had already passed on.

His body was taken to the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital where he was certified dead upon arrival.
Dlamini’s colleagues, who asked to remain anonymous, said he was last seen at his business area (near Sheet Street in Manzini) at around 10pm. They said they were not sure of how he got killed.
