PIGG’S PEAK – The grandfather to an eight-year-old boy who was cut on his hands using razors by a fellow pupil is of the view that the action could be demonic.

*Themba is a Grade II Pupil at The Peak Primary School, which is considered one of the best schools due to its proximity to the up market Glen Township.
At least 14 scars can be seen on *Themba’s hands, some of them as long as two centimetres wide.

Surprisingly, the pupil’s injuries healed, though he had not been able to go to the hospital as he hid the cuts from his guardian in fear of his attacker.
The boy’s grandfather, however made it clear that he was not taking the matter lightly and said it was ‘deeper than meets the eye’.
“An ordinary person may take this lightly, but this is serious and its demonic,” said *Themba’s grandfather.

He said blood sometimes could be used for certain reasons and added that it was for this reason that the family decided to pray for the eight-year-old boy.
The grandfather, who is also a priest, said he was shocked when he first saw the extent of the cuts inflicted on his grandson by a fellow pupil. He wondered why the school was failing to put a stop to this.

Several worshipers had also gathered at the church last Saturday during the interview where both the grandfather and grandmother to the boy shared their sadness and frustration over the incident.
The grandfather said the church would extensively pray for the boy.

He said it was difficult to get an understanding of why the pupil was inflicting cuts on his fellow classmate.
