MALKERNS – The MTN BUSHFIRE festival has been officially opened and the fire has officially been lit as the crowd could not wait to have fun at the fifth largest festival in the world.

This is following the events that took place last night at Malandela’s House on Fire.
The queue at the entrance proved just how much fun revellers were ready to brave the cold.

At 6pm, when the gates opened, already a long queue of fun lovers eagerly waiting to have fun on the night.
The excitement at the entrance proved how people were in great anticipation for this event to finally take place as there were a lot of foreigners pushing their way through the entrance. The queues to the camp sites became longer as there were two different sets of camp sites set up.

There is the glam site, which is more like a lodge with a bush feel and the proper camp site, which is set up individually by those who decided that the best place the entire weekend was at the festival throughout.

Anacondza, who was the Mc for the night made sure that the crowd was kept warmed up as the BUSHFIRE crew was setting up the stage.
Magicians, Sibhaca crew and Ingadla performed by the Imbali were introduced to the crowd as commemoration towards Swazi culture.

After these performances the crowd was amazed by the puppets and magicians that were hovering around the arena/dance floor as there were also giant magicians who performed tricks with fire, something that captured the crowd’s attention.

Immediately after that the Mc introduced the first act of the night, Pachanga, who got the crowd singing and dancing along.
