KING OFF TO MOZAMBIQUE ON STATE VISIT

image His Majesty King Mswati III waves to Emakhosikati and members of the royal family before boarding a plane to the Republic of Mozambique yesterday.

MATSAPHA – His Majesty King Mswati III is out of the country for a State visit to the Republic of Mozambique.


The King left the country yesterday afternoon by plane and it took off at around noon at Matsapha International Airport.
His Majesty, who was accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMatsebula, received an invitation from the Republic of Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi and his visit is expected to last for two days.
During the visit, the King is expected to tour the 120MW Ressano Garcia Power Station, which was recently inaugurated by the president, as well as the Dr Argawal’s Eye Hospital.


Dr Argawal’s Eye Hospital is one of the major eye speciality hospitals in the Mozambique and is headquartered at Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India. It was founded by Dr. Jaiveer Agarwal and his wife Tahira Agarwal in Chennai.


Delegation


His Majesty’s delegation is comprised of Prince David, Princess Lomalangeni, Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,  Minister of Home Affairs Princess Tsandzile and Minister of Public Works and Transport Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini.
Others were Minister of Natural Resources and Energy Jabulile Mashwama and Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Gideon Dlamini.
