NGABEZWENI – His Majesty King Mswati III has urged the nation not to doubt God’s powers.

The King said doubting God’s powers worsened any situation instead of making it better. This, the King said when addressing hundreds of pastors who came to bid him farewell at Ngabezweni Royal Residence.
The pastors were part of the masses of people who celebrated the Easter festivities with Their Majesties.

The monarch said there was a need for the pastors to pray to God that the Swazi nation stands firm in His presence.
In the same breath, the King also commended the nation for taking the Easter services seriously other than to view them as time to recline at resorts and spend the holidays on leisure.
He said such a humble act was witnessed not only by the citizenry by God Himself.

“Do not take the vigils that were held during the Easter services for granted. They are of great importance to God.
“As we speak, there are nations that do not have an opportunity to praise God because of many reasons including wars. When you pray consider those nations in your payers,” the King urged the pastors.
He told them about the attack and killing of people that took place inside a church in one of the countries he has frequented in recent years.

Emphasising that some nations had no chance to worship God, the King said the pastor was first to be attacked and was later killed and his head put on top of a table inside the place of worship.
He said the attackers mocked the dead pastor, saying his head should read the Bible and preach at the same time.  The King said they then killed the other members of the church regardless that they were hiding in the house of prayer.

“I was short for words to comfort that nation because they had lost their loved ones. I only said we should pray that such does not happen again. This is not a tale but a true story. We need to consider the other nations when we pray,” the King said.
He further said God’s powers were seen many times in the Bible.

The King quoted the scripture where it talks about Moses, who was commanded to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. He said the miracles that he performed through God’s command were enough to prove that what is impossible with man is possible with God.
“Sayibona inyoka ya Moses itigwinya tonkhe tinyoka ta Faro. Jesu uyinsimbi ledla letinye tinsimbi,” he said in vernacular. As he said this, the pastors were heard whistling inside the tent with some repeating his words.
