ADVANTAGES OF BEING SINGLE
LOBAMBA – Women can be very dangerous when they decide to abuse their powers.
Bheki Dlamini told 5 121 members of the Jehovah Witnesses yesterday that a woman was so powerful that she could change the way a man thought.
This was during the annual Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention held at Somhlolo National Stadium. The convention ends today.
This year’s theme is ‘Lingisa Jesu’ (Imitate Jesus).
Dlamini will be referred as such because Jehovah’s Witnesses do not use titles before their names.
There are no pastors, reverends, apostles or other titles.
Church leaders are only described as elders.
Worth noting is that yesterday’s church service attendance surpassed last week’s Castle Cup Final between Mbabane Swallows and Royal Leopard where more than 2 000 soccer fans attended.
The final was held at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Dlamini continued to say a woman had the ability to build and destroy.
Dlamini said a foolish woman, as articulated in the Bible, destroyed her household while a wise woman built her own family.
He said certain women abused their powers. He urged them to respect their husbands and stop being lazy. He said a wise woman was a pillar of strength in the family.
Dlamini said the wise woman would utilise family resources sparingly. He described a wise woman as a precious stone while the one who abused her powers was like a leaking house.
