LOBAMBA – His Majesty King Mswati III has urged the country to find ways to avoid being hit by challenges like the economical crisis again.

The King said this during a press conference, which was held at Ludzidzini Royal Residence yesterday morning where he was briefing the media about the talks of 70th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly which was held in New York, USA.

He said he was happy that year after another, there was tangible development experienced in the country. He said this showed that the country was putting more effort toward development because it was able to do so with limited finances, something that affected development in most countries.

“We have to find ways of conquering poverty. During the assembly, we looked into how countries were living, challenges they were facing and what could be done to solve those problems,” said the King.

He said economic challenges were affecting development amo-ng other things in most countries. The King said they agreed, as countries, to promote unity so that they could assist each other.

“As a country, we should also find ways of avoiding such crises. It happened before but we should find ways of making sure it does not happen again,” he said.

The King said this just about two weeks after the Prime Minister Sibusiso Dlamini had revealed that it was true that government might relive the financial crisis that occurred in the 2010/11 financial year.
