OVER 200 MANZINI CENTRAL PUPILS ‘ATTACKED BY DEMONS’

MANZINI – More than 200 Manzini Central High School pupils were allegedly attacked by what eyewitnesses and school officials believed were demons.

According to the eyewitnesses, there was panic at the school when at least 200 pupils, male and female, allegedly became hysterical in the morning after two pastors, Nkosingiphile Mbhamali, a former journalist with this publication and Channel S, in collaboration with Prophet Mxolisi Ngubeni of the Free Evangelical Church, prayed for the pupils.

This was during the morning service held at the school yesterday. Some pupils claimed to be suffering from nausea before they collapsed and began thrashing on the ground, hissing and speaking in what was described as ‘strange tongues’.

After they were prayed for by the said pastors, some of the pupils ran out of the school hall, popularly known as Mfanyana Hall, and dashed to the main road, leading to the Central Distributor traffic lights. With the assistance of several other pupils and teachers, they were grabbed and brought back to the school hall, where they were prayed for until they reportedly fell into a semi-conscious state.

“Most of the pupils were blabbering in a strange language. We could not understand what they were saying. It sounded like tongues and they became strong such that we had to pin them down so that they could not hurt themselves. All the teachers were there and we were afraid they would hurt themselves,” one of the teachers, who preferred not to be named, said.
After the incident where some of the pupils escaped and ran to the road, both school gates were locked and no strangers were allowed entry into the school.
