ARE YOU READY TO ‘BRING YOUR FIRE’?

MALKERNS – The first band from overseas to perform during this year’s MTN BUSHFIRE is already on Swazi soil, getting ready for their performance tonight.

123 is a band from Turkey and they arrived yesterday for their first performance in Swaziland tonight, at the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival in Malkerns.

Since their formation in 2004, the Turkish indie pop band 123 has been dazzling audiences with their intriguing stories and dreamy melodies. 123 are supported by the Turkish Embassy of Mozambique.
According to the band they are thrilled to be in the country.

“Right now we are tired, however, tomorrow (tonight) the stage will be on fire during our grand performance. It took us more than 12 hours to travel from Turkey to Swaziland.”

Vibrant

Adding, they promised peaceful, good and vibrant music, to music lovers tonight.
On another note, the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival organisers and Swaziland Beverages have promised fun lovers that there will be no drink shortages during the festival.

According to the main bar’s coordinator Themba Vilakati, there will be a truck loaded with various drinks parked at the arena as a backup plan for the bars within the festival.

“We will not run out of drinks as we will have extra stock kept aside as a backup plan and our customer service at the different bars will be at the highest standards, as the main bar at the arena will have more than 30 bar tenders.”
