RAMODIBEDI A LEGAL HERO - LESOTHO MINISTER
MBABANE – “We are talking about a hero when it comes to legal issues. If Justice Michael Ramodibedi is facing problems in Swaziland, we should not turn a blind eye to who exactly this man is,” says Foreign Affairs and International Relations Minister Tlohang Sekhamane.
In a wide ranging interview with the Lesotho Times pertaining to Ramodibedi’s issue in Swaziland, the minister said he did not have any doubt that Swaziland tried to deal with Justice Ramodibedi’s issue with dignity. The Minister further stated that as a matter of fact, Swazi authorities had not had a chance to officially inform them about Justice Ramodibedi’s issue.
“The Swazi government, through its law-enforcement and investigation agencies, believes Justice Ramodibedi should stand trial for certain charges. As Lesotho, we do not have any argument with that. We cannot stop Swaziland from doing so because we don’t know anything about those charges,” Sekhamane was quoted saying.
