MONEY BEING WASTED ON SECURITY FORCES – PUPILS
LOBAMBA - Pupils from KaLamdladla High School, speaking about their expectation before the budget speech was delivered yesterday in Parliament, noted that in the past a lot of money was being wasted in security forces, especially with the army.
They were of the view that the country has never been under any threat of war and that the country was at peace.
Bridges
The pupils who were interviewed individually said they would be pleased if more money could be invested in funding for tertiary education, roads and bridges in the rural areas as well as paying civil servants adequately.
Sadly, after the interview, a senior police officer denied them entrance to the public gallery and they had to listen too the budget speech at the staff canteen from TV.
The police officer argued that they would cause disturbance as proceedings had already started.
