Dlamini, who is the President of the proscribed entity, Swaziland Youth Congress (SWAYOCO), was charged under the Suppression of Terrorism Act No.3 of 2008 in connection with six counts relating to bombings that were experienced in the country.
He was arrested in 2010 for among other things, allegedly petrol-bombing the deceased former Mayiwane Member of Parliament (MP) David Shongwe’s house and Mercedes Benz.

The incident happened on June 7, 2010 at Ntabinezimpisi.
In the video, Dlamini states that he was beaten and tortured upon arrest at the Manzini Regional Headquarters. He also said he was later transferred to KaPhunga Police Station where the alleged torture continued.

The activist alleged that he was made to lie on a wooden bench while his hands were cuffed awkwardly underneath the bench. He said the police would cover his nostrils and mouth with a red tyre tube to suffocate him.
