GOVT WILL PAY FOR 100 STUDENTS IN SA

MBABANE – The government of the Kingdom of Swaziland will, this year, pay for 100 Swazi students in South African universities.


Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security Nomathemba Hlope said government had agreed to finance the education of the students interested in different fields of study.


These are subjects from a reviewed list of categories funded by government. She said all the prospective students were expected to converge at the ministry’s conference room where they would appear before the Scholarship Selection Board.


The prospective students are expected to be at the ministry by 9am today. “The students are expected to come with admission letters, academic certificates, graded tax clearance certificates and national identity cards. The documents should include originals and certified copies,” said Hlope in her statement forwarded to this publication.


The areas of study include Mining Engineering, Bachelor of Economics and Econometrics, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Computer Engineering, Medicine, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Radiography, Forestry, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, Dental Technology, Information Technology, Laboratory Technology, Metallurgical Engineering, Bachelor of Speech Audiology, Bachelor of Commerce Computer Systems and Diploma in Agricultural Science (Crop Science).


Expected


Hlope said students are expected to further their studies at North West University, University of Cape Town, Tshwane University of Technology, Medunsa, Vaal University of Technology, University of Pretoria, Wits University, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, University of Kwa-zulu Natal, Mangosuthu Technikon, University of Johannesburg and the Durban University of Technology.

kuyafana mani even the hundred students are ur relatives needy kids nibavalela ngaphandle nine bonhliziyombi nine tinja.
