MANKAYANE – The body of the retired teacher, who was reported missing by family members, was one of two bodies that were found by the search party, yesterday.

This means that the number of people recovered by the joint operation of various stakeholders has increased to 13 from those who were retrieved on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The 13 people are believed to have been passengers of a kombi styled Khathazile Transport that services the Manzini-Mankayane/Lushikishini route, which was swept by a strong current on Monday.

Emily Busisiwe Sibiya, a former Nokuthula Primary School teacher, was found at around 1pm at an area called Mtungulube.
A family member, Sicelo Maziya, confirmed that the body of his sister was one of those recovered yesterday.
Sicelo, who has been with the search party since Monday, said their wish as a family to find the body of Busisiwe had been granted.

Riverbanks

Earlier on the day, a team of soldiers and police officers who were searching at areas towards Ngcoseni, found a body of a female on the riverbanks of Ngwempisi River.
It was around 9:30am. Police Information and Communications Officer Assistant Superintendent Khulani Mamba said the woman was estimated to be 22 years old.

He said the woman had not yet been identified.
Mamba said the search for more bodies would continue because more people were believed to be missing.

Thank you for sharing this. I emleaid it to my family and friends. I've been moving more and more in the direction of organic whole foods (even a CSA member!) over the past few years. Now it's time to accelerate that plan due to the awareness this video has given me. I hope to help my son and niece make that connection and change, as well. This may be one of the most important posts I've read this year!
