NO SYMPATHY FOR POPULACE

Sir,

Our politicians are being afforded first class care as they don’t deserve to suffer with ‘timfucuta’. Our safety is not of concern to them; our livelihood in those concrete hearts is none existent! It is sickening that our hospitals’ dispensaries are empty, yet we have a woman, a natural caregiver, as a minister who seemingly cares for the welfare and safety of her kind.
We are rated as a middle class country, yet our healthcare is intentionally put in the intensive care unit! With the issue of a constant shortage of medication in public hospitals, government is showing us the middle finger while it remains directionless.

Quiet

But the saddest thing is that our elected representatives are also quiet and inactive. Government has been exposed and has shown what kind of mentality and heart it possesses. Lakagogo we live by natural selection and the soil marvels when its bowels are nourished by the tears of the suffering and aches of the poverty stricken. The rich and powerful ought to caress the soil, sending the marginalised to the Promised Land! Without the help of the outside world, only the lucky and strong will be satiating the air of the living. Thank you to the World Health Organisation which stepped up and provided the necessary basics to the most vulnerable during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our government has no time to spend on such trivialities.

Leadership

Government has proven that it lacks leadership skills and has neither heart nor sympathy for the populace. I wonder if it is trying to see us suffer so that it can continue to siphon millions from donors. Where are the hearts of those leading the Ministry of Health, who are senselessly and insensitively dicing with our lives and health, which may put the nation in a catastrophic position? We have a bleak future when public officials who ought to work for the nation turn a blind eye to our plight. Vele how can you feel for the majority when you were handpicked by a minority? To them, the populace lives in another world while they are on transit to their paradise of a First World. God will deal harshly with the heartless and selfish! They may seem to be untouchable, but the hand of God and the cries and pains of the suffering have a humbling effect!
