UNWANTED SOULS

Sir,

For a minute we were fine until they decided we were just a fling. But you and I both knew from the start, it was real. Nobody cared to ask anyway. I mean, how could it be? Woman, I’ve been praying for you and God finally delivered.

When we first met I told you my story and you told me yours. Yes, we met people. We loved and lost. Most importantly we survived.

We know all about the good, the bad and the ugly. We made mistakes and learned. We are not perfect after all.

Perfect

I mean, who is perfect? Everybody has a past. There was never a day that you judged me, I fell for you even more for that. In your eyes I only saw realness and never your imperfections. Just maybe one day God will let me have you.

You’re such an amazing woman. You’re brave, bold and beautiful, fierce and kind. You’re ambitious and keen. You’re loyal and lovely, strong and fragile.

Your smile is from the heart, it is so therapeutic and full of warmth. There was not a day that passed that I was not grateful to have you in my life.

Definition

My definition of an absolutely phenomenal woman. If you don’t believe me take a look into the mirror and tell me I’m wrong.

You valued my spirit, you recognise my strengths, and you honoured my ideas. You prayed with me for my dreams to come true because you believed in me. You loved me down to the bones. I felt it, you need not to say it and I still feel it. Just maybe one day God will let me have you.

Peace

Just when we thought we found peace and a home, atlast. Boom! Our world tumbled down just like that and nobody considered the feelings constructed. It hurts! It’s funny how we were warned that hell was coming and it was coming hard. We were told nevertheless walk on and don’t look at the waters. How did we get here?

How did we let the devil win? I still say we shouldn’t have lost sight of the altar – not everyone will understand this.

We were a special kind, a movement. Not just any movement but a powerful movement! I still believe the heavens brought us together though. Just maybe one day God will let me have you and may the mystery in those against us unfold. May they one day wish us well and let us be.
