LIFE WILL NEVER BE FAIR

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

Until you have lived and seen things that happened around you, you will agree with me that life will never be fair.
The way things happen sometimes you would swear on your most precious thing that life was made for certain individuals. As for the rest of us we are on our own.

I’ll never see life as fair when my mum had to raise me alone yet the man who sired me was still alive. I mean how is that fair, all my life I’ve never had a feel of fatherly love?
All my life I’ve never had the most important person in my life to teach me about life.

Part

Recently I’ve had to part ways with my girlfriend whom I had been together with for three years when I didn’t want that to happen.
But what would you do if someone you still wish to marry made you feel like they didn’t need you in their life anymore? Do you think it’s fair that she was not the one who at least suggested we end things? Do you think it’s fair I made a decision that would hurt me even more?

Do you think it’s fair that I have five siblings but I have never shared a meal with them because we don’t live together?
Do you think it’s fair that we have grown up without having the slightest bond within ourselves?
How will life ever be fair when it deprives me of the simplest things in life; something as simple as having both my siblings and dad for lunch?

Wealthiest

Enough about me; now tell me how is it fair that Africa is the wealthiest continent in the world but has nothing to show for it?
How is it that Africa is the most talented country in terms of sports but players dream of playing in Europe rather than staying in their countries and make them grow?

How is it fair that the most qualified woman still gets paid less than an average qualified man?
How will life ever be fair when it takes years to build your name but only seconds to destroy it?
How will life ever be fair when viruses that kill thousands of people are made to achieve a certain agenda? Have agendas become more important than the gift of life?

How will life be fair when it takes blood to gain respect when you could just earn it in the most appropriate way?
How will life ever be fair when justice isn’t applied the same way when someone in a high position is found guilty?

Fair

I don’t know about you but for me life will never be fair. I have had to see myself lose a bond with someone I never wanted to lose.
I have lost people whom I never wanted to lose in my life.

So until I have everything I lost, I will never see life as fair because it is not fair.
It’s like it chooses which ones to be easy on and forgets about the ones who don’t deserve to be happy or have something great in life.
