YOUTH MUST HAVE PURPOSE IN LIFE

Sir,

Today’ generation should be wise and have dreams and goals and work towards them. It really hurts me when I see the youth taking drugs because this leads to brain damage at an early age yet they can be our future policemen, doctors, businessmen, lecturers and leaders. Obstacles and challenges are here to build us and not to kill us. So abusing alcohol won’t help anyone since it will not take you to the next level of your life but destroy it. Playing soccer, monopoly, reading books and newspapers and watching your favourite movies are good stress relievers. Therefore I challenge the youth to be smart and wise, they must engage in things that are good for them and their future. It rains everywhere so don’t be scared of what you come across in this journey of becoming successful in your life.

Being more conscious of your day to day decisions will lead you to take the appropriate action to reach your goals. Have a purpose in life and don’t let people tell you what to do or how things should be. If you truly want to pursue your goals and actually see them come true, you need to start making conscious decisions. Believe in yourself because if you don’t no one will believe in you. When people ask you about your goals in life don’t be afraid to say it out loud. lf you are insecure about your goals, you will make insecure decisions that will lead you nowhere.

Succeeding

Constantly repeat in your mind the image of yourself succeeding as this way you will be creating a neutral pathway in the brain. Go out there and daydream. Go out there and believe the image that you will live in a huge house, drive a Mercedes or BMW, the owner of your business. With enough repetition, you become certain that this is the only outcome and you work towards making it happen. You also need to invest in yourself by going to the gym, eating healthy food, reading books, taking notes, learning new skills and do something for yourself. Be organised! If your thoughts are a mess, write them down in a notebook. When everything is in front of you, it is easier to organise your thoughts. If you don’t have organised thoughts, it’s hard to feel motivated to do anything. In addition to organising your thoughts, maybe you need to be physically organized as well.
