WE ALL 2019 RICH

Sir,

The long awaited new year of 2019 has finally fallen, with sounds of fireworks, in the watch of our eyes. The beginning of a new year is like the birth of a new baby, without sin or scar, and pure as gold. It’s only people and the environment that can pollute and disturb its nature or aspirations. Many will question what this year has in store for us. The reality stands, in the beginning of every New Year everyone hopes and prays for a better life ahead. Unfortunately not everyone experiences that kind of life as the year passes by. Some will delight in success and satisfaction, while others swim in poverty, debts, addictions and exploitation.

The year 2019 brings in new opportunities, mainly being alive. When we are alive, life gives us a chance to do things better; to eliminate bad friends, relations and habits; to positively analyse ourselves, others and resources around us; and to make great use of every small opportunity we come across in our daily lives. This enables us to develop in character and improve our holdings. What everyone does at the beginning of the year determines the kind of life you are going to have, the kind of property you’ll acquire and the experiences you’ll reflect on at the end of the year.

Life

This year also comes with new challenges; challenges are diverse and their effect varies. The kind of life we choose to live; the kind of people we associate ourselves with; and the places we place ourselves in, will always have an impact on our lives. Facing challenges doesn’t mean we’re not good enough or doing the right thing. Challenges teach us new lessons; they test our strengths and help reveal our weaknesses. If we want to make it within ourselves and in the outside world, we should learn to know, understand and accept that we all have strengths and weaknesses. Our strengths help us overcome challenges. Our weaknesses help us understand ourselves better and carefully make our choices.
