IS GOD DEFINABLE?

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

Sometimes I get confused by the formation and structure of the Almighty God. Maybe He is a super supreme human being in the hidden places of our present visible world; maybe He is a giant human being who views our world from a higher panoramic view.

Then one would enquire why exactly He reveals himself in different forms without exactly revealing a single bodily form on earth that would leave a majority of people with evidence of such an amazing spectacle.
God has for many centuries revealed himself to different men of God as a simple voice that would give directives to them.

Invisible

This voice was just an audio with an invisible body and eventually led to the writing of the first five books of the holy book.
The transition of God’s voice to God’s word (writing) meant that you could now and again refer to God’s word, but did that now mean God was represented by the rocks of tablet written by Moses.

God later on comes to say in the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God and nothing was created outside the word.
Now, as we take the eternal journey we come to realise that the Lord at some point reveals himself as fire that burnt but could not consume a tree, in His encounter with Moses.

Understand

Does that then mean God’s structure composes of fire particles because a man of God somewhat later on said he was the consuming fire?
Can our God really be defined; is there a simple structure for us to understand or to see him by? Can He only be seen by those whom He only reveals himself to or maybe we can all see Him.

This question troubles me, and then how many times have I come across the Lord in the streets and I did not even say a simple hello; how many times have I had a conversation with Him but never realized it?

But Abraham, how did you know that those three men were God himself, how did you even come to know God could take a human form?
How many times has the Lord tapped on my shoulder as a spirit without me feeling it or even hearing Him because I cannot hear much or see much in the spiritual realm?

Defined

How many times has the Lord rode past me with his Cherub or riding on the wings of wind without me seeing him?
Now, coming back to the question at hand; can God be defined or rather should God be defined?

I can only wish God would give me a better revelation of who or what He is but I am worried though that the definition He has given me about himself is better than the one He will tell me.
