SHOULD I COMPLAIN?

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,
Have you ever wished you could view things differently, have you ever wished you could view things just like every human being you come across.

Or rather has it ever clicked to you that we as human beings view situations differently and we always have different views of every subject we discuss. Alas, that’s what makes us unique; it’s what makes us want to hear different people every time a certain matter is discussed.

Now, come to think of the subject matter; should Abraham have complained when God moved him out of his people and family. Should he have complained when Pharaoh took Sarah for the night?

Or when God said he should offer Isaac as a sacrifice, who was very dear to him. Should Esau have complained when Jacob the father of Israel stole his birthright and subsequently his blessing?

Should the children of Israel have complained to the Lord when he looked at their 400 years of slavery without acting, or maybe they should have complained because He chose a murderer to be their messiah (Moses)? Should Joseph have complained about being thrown into a pit, or maybe he should have complained about being sold by his own brothers for slavery? No wait, he definitely should have complained about being falsely accused for rape by Potiphar’s wife, or maybe he should have complained about being forgotten for two years by Pharaoh’s servant.

Complained

Should Ester have complained to Modecai for raising her up for royalty when in fact she had no royal blood or royal connections?
Should Jesus Christ have complained for coming on earth with the purpose of dying for our sins, or maybe the apostles of Christ should have complained for being hunted, being trashed and subsequently being killed for the testimony of Christ.

Now that I have your attention, how many times have you complained unnecessarily and for things you should have not complained for?
What really should we complain about and what exactly should inspire every complaint we have? Appreciate the fact that you have a roof over your head, appreciate the fact that you can speak while some can’t.

Appreciate the fact that you can see because some can’t and appreciate the fact that you can walk while some can’t.
Appreciate the fact that you have a job while some actually don’t, appreciate the fact that you live in a peaceful environment yet some walk with guns to school and or work. Appreciate the fact that you have a family while some would do anything to bring theirs back.

Appreciate

Appreciate your partner because someone would stop time to have someone as amazing as him or her. Appreciate those things which may look insignificant in your life because to some people they mean the world. As life brings closer more of those who were created to appreciate my existence and as I appreciate everything and every amazing being in my life, ask yourself this question, should I complain about this?
