READ THIS FOR A MOMENT

Sir,

This is a message to you. You live your life blind and ignorant and I don’t blame you. You go to bed at night with the unconscious thought that you will wake up in the morning and I don’t blame you. You wake up in the morning, stretch yourself and head for the kitchen and I don’t blame you.

You go about doing your morning rituals and once you’re finished, you head out to wherever you head out to, school or work or town or the place which I don’t know but you know, again, I don’t blame you. Along the way or rather on your way there you see your local church which you rarely attend, you look at the cross and think to yourself; “I have to pick up the pace otherwise I’ll be late for the bash.” You run right past the church, you don’t even think twice about it and I, well, don’t blame you.

Enjoy the bash, drink until you drop and drop it like it’s hot. Smoke what’s trending and drink the best quality, go ahead, have a nice time. But for a moment, can we go back to that building you passed along the way.

The one that has a cross, yeah, the church you so easily ran past. Yeah, the church. It looks boring, it sounds boring too doesn’t it. It has this feel about it that makes you a bit uneasy. Kind of like a constant nuisance, repetitively reminding you of the same thing, the same truth over and over again.

You hear them say; “Repent, for Jesus is coming back. Repent, for Jesus is coming back. Repent for the world will be destroyed. Repent while there is time to save yourself. Repent for the destroyer draws near. Repent! Save yourself from the coming destruction.”

Here is what I say. The world is a wolf in sheep clothing. The world may look like wine but it tastes like vinegar. The world looks perfect but draw closer and you will begin to see the cracks. But there is this world which you know not of. Created by God for His people, His creation, you and you, yes and you too. The passage to this world begins at that building you so easily ran past along the way to your bash. There is a hidden mystery inside of those four walls, hidden from sight, unseen by man. Go to your bash, I will be enjoying my church.
