PRAYER MUST BE IN-DEPTH, ORIGINAL

 Sir,

As previously shared with you, I sought God everywhere by initially following various religions. Reciting ‘words’, without feeling and willing them into one’s life, is not going to make any difference. Repeating the same words over and over again tends to make one feel desperate.  The desperation vibration tends to push everything away.

When we pray we often ask for guidance to find a solution to our problems in realisation that God ‘allows,’ so if we continue doing exactly the same things and expect a different result, that too is not going to work. Often the solution lies in us not only changing our habits but doing something different to get a different result.

I do not believe anyone wants to hear exactly the same things day in and day out from a specific person, if that happens we tend to avoid that person like the plague. Likewise, prayer should be in-depth, conscious and always original. It should be done not as a ‘by the way’ thing but something wherein we stop everything and totally focus on it. We must go into that meditative state.

Praying for one because of the intent can assist to a certain degree but unless one is willing to receive, unless one follows one’s inner guidance to make adjustments in one’s thoughts and behaviour, change will not occur because we often find ourselves in certain situations due to our actions, as well as our fears. Whatever we fear, we draw to ourselves and thus the reason why it is important not to energise our fears. Unless one has worked through their fears and dealt with them at length, those fears will not lose their power over us, they will continue to dominate our thoughts and as long as we ‘entertain’ them, they will manifest.

Prayer is most definitely not going to take that away! We are not slaves to our thoughts, we are the masters and we have the power to dominate them. If fear comes to the fore, we have to question it in detail. We have to ‘find ways’ to look at that fear in such a manner that it no longer becomes something frightening but indeed, it becomes a ‘dot’ in our mind’s eye, vanishing to a distance.

Prayer has to be ‘empowering’ to one so as to uplift one for we are prophesying this into being. If, however, the outcome because of prior actions is adverse, one has to  not only learn from that situation but one has to analyse and find the core that manifested that outcome for when one knows what created it, one will surely avoid repeating those very actions.

Often the answers to our prayers are quite clear, do this, change that, forget that, forgive that, etc. and yet, some of us are so rigid in our ways that we actually vocalise that we ‘will never do that’! Do that which permits you to always celebrate the highest feeling about who you are. I pray I have given you enough to think about in order to change.

I J Antonio
