YOU HAVE RUN YOUR RACE

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

I am a Swazi born and bred in Swaziland. In my few years on this planet I have realised many things. I have learnt numerous things that are significant to every living being.

I have come to terms with the way things are done in this country. Mr PM where are you?
What are you doing wherever you are? I am grievously worried and concerned. It is apparent to every Swazi that the country must take another direction.

I want to know from you Sir on why are you so quiet? Why are you dearth when the country needs leadership? Why are you not available for people to ask questions and assure them that things will be fine?

The problem with the government you are leading is this weapon of mass destruction you wield; this epidemic called denial syndrome.
In my understanding, the role of a prime minister is similar to that of a wife in a family. A wife is the CEO of a family.

She becomes a manager; she is the one who ensures the well functioning of a home. She nurtures her family, she gives hope, food, but where there is none, she assures of a better future regardless of the dilapidated circumstances visible to all.
This is what I expect from you Sir. You are scaring me Mr PM. You make me ponder a bit and assess what really were you appointed to do?

Perhaps the reason you are no longer visibly seen working is because you have run your race; you have done what you were appointed to do thus you see no reason why you should be stressing yourself with finding realistic solutions for the socio-economic and political challenges faced by the country.

M Motsa
