A LIFETIME MISTAKE

Within a twinkle of an eye my life changed to misery.

A new adventure to the land of agony and regret, with so many excuses; a simple mistake has taken me that far. All doors behind are closed only doors of death embrace my presence. Darkness saturates my path. No hope, only the end of life keeps getting my attention; it simply says I have made a mistake of a lifetime.
I miss all the proverbs that were whispered in my ears and I deliberately neglected them. One person said; “You better pay now to fly later than flying now to pay later.” My guilty conscience keeps reminding me more of such words that abort every positive thought I seem to have. A proverb which keeps thrilling in my mind says ‘you can avoid your responsibilities but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding your responsibilities’.
Surely its payback time, no retreat no surrender; as the Bible says I will reap according to what I have sown.

I am now accountable for every transaction of my life; unfortunately it’s a mistake that will cost me a lifetime, a questionable evidence of my entire life. In a minute I lost my happiness for the sorrow of lifetime. The consequence of me not being able to be patient has resulted in my patience today. Only death is seen to be standing by my side this time around. All my friends are waving goodbye from a distance, just like the sun in the horizon, it disappears.
“Every short cut in life leads to long periods of agony and regret. Never take chances with your life, in fact never leave your bed at night for nice time. Your blankets are your true friends; remember whether its summer or winter your blankets are always there for you. They will also be your friend even in the shadow of death. Some will even be with you inside your grave where all your crew will no longer be around.”
Surely I have made a lifetime of mistakes and life is a fair employer that pays one according to his/her labour. The Bible says it in black and white that one reaps according to what they have sown.
